Biography of Our Owner
My story started in the year of 2010 at the Old George Hicks Middle school.
I was a very strong supporter of the Parents Teachers Association. They did a lot of fundraising for the school. One of the ideas brainstormed together with the PTA was to purchase an Easy Dunker. It became one of their best fundraising water game tools, and children from different schools all over the Cayman Islands were supportive.
Like every good thing, the parents of that PTA children got older and moved on to High school. I was voted to be a part of a newly elected PTA. Around that time there were major changes to the school building, and the model of the classrooms at public schools. The Deputy Director Mr. Des Mcconvey of the school noticed how I cared and maintained the only one Easy Dunker, and was asked if I could be the caretaker because construction would start soon and the school had nowhere to store and maintain it, I gladly accepted. We created a plan to have the Easy Dunker rented to others schools, and private entities. The rest of the story is history, I purchased the shares of the school, and expanded it into a business. The business was adversely affected by the COVID-19 crisis but is still active, and 95% of my customers are repeat customers.
